2025 and 2026: what changed
2025: Verstappen won eight Grands Prix in the RB21, more than any other driver, and lost the title by just two points – Lando Norris finished on 423 points, Verstappen on 421. The team was third in the constructors' championship (Formula1.com).
2026: the new regulations brought the biggest change in the team's history – Red Bull became a manufacturer of its own power unit. The DM01 engine was developed in partnership with Ford, and the team unveiled the RB22 in Detroit at Ford's headquarters, in a gloss livery inspired by the 2005 car (PlanetF1).
- The first half of the season was difficult: at mid-season the team was fourth in the constructors' standings and its best result was Verstappen's second place in Austria and Hungary (Formula1.com).
- October brought a turnaround: on 4 October Verstappen won the Bahrain Grand Prix, held in Malaysia because of the situation in the Middle East – the first win for the Red Bull Ford engine. A week later, on 11 October, he also won in Singapore, his first victory at that circuit (Formula1.com).
- Drivers for 2027: Verstappen is under contract until the end of 2030, and according to the team's announcement of 23 September 2026 Hadjar stays for 2027.
Status as of 20 October 2026. The Mercedes drivers lead the 2026 championship.
Red Bull Racing merchandise: finding your way around
Red Bull Racing clothing is made by Castore, which signed a long-term extension with the team (PlanetF1). Caps and beanies come from New Era. There are three types of collections:
| Line | What it is | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Team edition (Teamline, replica) | the same clothing the team wears in the garage, with sponsor logos; Castore technical fabric | race weekends, the grandstand, collectors |
| Castore and New Era lifestyle range | simpler design with the team or driver logo (e.g. CORE, GRAPHIC BULL, PIXEL, NE LINEAR lines) | everyday wear |
| Red Bull fan lines | T-shirts and hoodies with the team logo (SPARK, RACING, TONAL editions), Red Bull Ring collection | a universal gift, even for casual F1 viewers |
Besides clothing, Red Bull has one of the widest accessory ranges in F1: mugs, travel mugs, wallets, blankets, bedding, towels and car air fresheners. You'll find them in the Red Bull gifts collection. The full team range is in the Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 Team collection, women's and kids' items in the Red Bull Racing F1 women's collection and Red Bull Racing F1 kids' collection.
Older collections
You'll also find merchandise from previous seasons – with drivers such as Sergio Pérez, with Verstappen's number 1 or 33, or collaborations with fashion labels (e.g. Pepe Jeans). It is original merchandise, just from a different year. If you're buying a gift, check whether the recipient wants the current season or doesn't mind.
Max Verstappen: driver merchandise
Verstappen is a four-time world champion and his merchandise is among the best-selling in F1. What to look for:
- Number 3 in 2026. After losing the title, Verstappen switched from number 1 to number 3, not his earlier 33. Caps and T-shirts with the 3 are the current line.
- New Era caps are the most popular driver item. The team cap with the driver number is adjustable, so you don't need to guess the size; there is also a kids' version. In winter, the team knit beanie is a practical choice.
- Castore lifestyle lines with the MV1 logo or PIXEL motif – T-shirts and hoodies in orange, grey and navy.
- Collectibles – Funko POP figures, Schuberth helmet models (Verstappen's 2026 helmet at 1:4 and 1:2 scale) and car models.
Everything is in the Max Verstappen collection, split into T-shirts and polos, hoodies, jackets and sweaters and gifts.
Car models: RB19, RB20, RB21 and RB22
| Car | Season | Why collect it |
|---|---|---|
| RB19 | 2023 | one of the team's most successful seasons, drivers' and constructors' titles |
| RB20 | 2024 | Verstappen's fourth title |
| RB21 | 2025 | eight Verstappen wins, title lost by 2 points; also raced by Yuki Tsunoda |
| RB22 | 2026 | first car with the Red Bull Ford engine, new regulations |
Bburago 1:43 models are an affordable way to start a collection; Spark offers more detailed models of specific races at 1:43, 1:18 or 1:12. Models of 2026 cars reach the market gradually during the year, so keep an eye on the Formula 1 models, Bburago F1 models and F1 driver helmet models collections.
Red Bull Ring: the team's "home" race
The circuit in Spielberg, Styria, is owned by Red Bull, which in 2013 agreed to revive the Austrian Grand Prix; it has been back on the F1 calendar since 2014. Verstappen has won the Austrian Grand Prix here four times (2018, 2019, 2021, 2023) and the Styrian Grand Prix in 2021. In 2026 he finished second behind George Russell on 28 June (Formula1.com).
For fans in Central Europe it is the closest F1 race with Red Bull in the lead role. According to the calendar on formula1.com, the 2027 Austrian Grand Prix is scheduled for 9–11 July 2027. T-shirts, hoodies and accessories with circuit motifs are in the Red Bull Ring Spielberg collection.
