Who is Pecco Bagnaia
The Italian from Rossi's VR46 Academy won the 2018 Moto2 world title with the VR46 team. In MotoGP he has ridden a Ducati since 2019 – first for Pramac, and for the factory team since 2021. In 2022 and 2023 he won two MotoGP world titles, the first VR46 Academy rider to do so in the premier class. In the seasons after his titles he swapped his traditional 63 for number 1. In 2026 he rides for Ducati Lenovo alongside Marc Márquez; from 2027 he moves to Aprilia on a four-year contract running to the end of 2030.
