Red Bull Racing entered Formula 1 in 2005 by taking over the Jaguar team. In twenty years it has won six constructors' titles (2010–2013, 2022 and 2023), and its drivers have won eight world championships – four for Sebastian Vettel (2010–2013) and four for Max Verstappen (2021–2024).

The 2026 season: an in-house engine and Verstappen with number 3

2026 is a landmark year for the team: for the first time it races with its own power unit, Red Bull Ford Powertrains. In the 2026 season Max Verstappen races with number 3 (number 1 belongs to 2025 world champion Lando Norris), and his team-mate is Isack Hadjar with number 6. The team's clothing is made by Castore, its caps by New Era.

Why do some Verstappen products show number 1 and others number 3?
As world champion, Verstappen raced with number 1 from 2022 to 2025. From the 2026 season he uses number 3; older products with number 1 are original merchandise from previous seasons.
