Peak Design Form Rope Camera Strap Standard – Kelp

A minimalist fixed-length camera strap.

We created the Form Rope as a minimalist, more comfortable alternative to the rope straps we had tried in the past. Instead of coarse climbing rope stitched to bulky mass-produced rings, we developed our own materials and hardware to achieve a cleaner shape and a great user experience.

The custom-developed nylon-polyester rope with a basket weave offers the ideal balance of strength, softness and stretch, making carrying your camera comfortable. At the ends, the strap flows seamlessly into colour-matched, low-profile versions of our Anchor Link quick connectors made of glass-fibre-reinforced nylon, ensuring secure and easy camera attachment.

An elegant anodised aluminium ring lets you attach a free Anchor, so you can stow the strap on your body when you take the camera off. With four fixed-length sizes, every photographer can choose their ideal length and carry style.
